The Lakeshore Dog Training Association was founded in 1959, and
is the largest dog obedience club on the island of Montreal. We offer all
levels of obedience training from Puppy kindergarten up to the competitive
Utility level. Our motivational method has worked for hundreds of companion dog
owners as well as for the more competitive dog sport enthusiasts. All our
highly experienced instructors come from our ranks as we are a teaching Club.
In fact, many of the instructors in the Montreal area began their obedience
training with the LDTA.
We
follow a motivational method of positive reinforcement and our structured
classes are based on a logical "building block" approach. Our
homework sheets are goal-oriented, concise and easy to follow. Your instructors
are committed to having you reach your individual goals and are always just a
phone call away should you need additional help.
